WOLF'S  DEN
FULLY OPERATIONAL FARM, PETTING ZOO, PONY RIDES, & RIDING LESSONS

PETTING ZOOS FOR EVERY OCCASION

OUR SET UP
Our petting zoo is self-contained. We do the set up and clean up. We can be in driveways, parks, decks, backyards, front yards, sidewalks, garages, class rooms, inside or out. The setup depends on the space available and what you want! Every setup includes hand sanitizer and or a sink. Health records are always available, just ask! Workers are always on hand to answer questions, supervise animal interactions, and help guarantee hands on experiences.

PREPARATIONS & CONDITIONS

All animals used will be up to date on all health care. Prior to a job appointment the animals involved will receive a bath and or proper grooming. Every set up will allow adequate shade or shelter, access to water, and periodic breaks from the public if needed. The weather conditions determine the frequency of the breaks, cancellations, and or animal selections as to cause no harm to any of the animal ambassadors.

PERMITTING
If weather and time permit, animal demonstrations will be given to help increase the hands on learning. Including,
but not limited to grooming, general care, hoof trimming, milking, ground walking, and feeding of any babies.

GENERAL COST

The cost of having a zoo come to you depends on the number of people attending, their ages, the type of event, and the option chosen and or the number of animals you would like us to bring, and for how long. We choose the animals that would best suit your event. You will be able to request animals, but we have the final say as we have raised many of our animals and know how they will react to different situations. We can handle a small birthday party or a seven day fair. So please ask lots of questions if you are not sure or have concerns about anything. Special event rates, commissions, and percentages can be arranged. We try to please! The possibilities are endless!

TRAVEL
We have tried to make our travel fee as fair to everyone as possible. We do not try to make a profit off of this, it is just to cover our basic expense to get to you. We will gadly come to you if you are anywhere in the tri state area, maybe even if your not! The gas it takes to drive a truck and trailer would amaze you, especially when gas increases. We also keep our travel equipment in good, safe, working order. Our travel fee is based off of mapquest and we only charge it once, one way. This travel fee is $1.50 per mile.

BOOKING
Please, please, please try to book as early as possible. We normally book events three to six months in advance. We need a minimum of 14 days to comfortable fit in an event. We generally recieve a call or email that someone has questions or is interested in booking a date. We return the call or email within 24 hours whenever possible. Please remember we are running a buisness, a large facility, and a family. We then send out a contract. In order for us to write you into our schedule and book your day and times, we need the contract and a deposit. Once we recieve the contract (fully filled out and signed) and the deposit we will call or email you a conformation.

At Wolf's Den we understand that not everyone in the buisness is reliable and trustworthy. We also understand that things come up in life and priorities can shift. For those reasons we will rearrange and fit events in last minute. To book an event with less then 7 days notice add $50.00 to the total. To book an event with less the 48 hours notice add $75.00 to the total.

Wolf's Den is double licensed, fully insured, permitted, certified, and CPR trained. If you still feel unsure or want some extra protection we can add you to our insurance for the day(s). The fee to cover this is $100.00

A DOG'S PLEA

Treat me kindly,
my beloved friend,
for no heart in all the world
is more graceful for kindness
then the loving heart of me.

Do not break my spirit with a stick,
for though I should lick
your hand between blows,
your patience and understanding
will more quickly teach me
the things you would have me learn.

Speak to me often,
for your voice is the world's sweetest music,
as you know by the fierce wagging
of my tail when your footstep
falls upon my waiting ear.

Please take me inside when
it is cold and wet.
For I am a domesticated animal,
no longer accustomed to the bitter elements.

I ask no greater glory
than the privilege of sitting at
your feet beside the hearth.

Keep my pan filled with fresh water.
For I cannot tell you when I suffer thirst.
Feed me clean food that I may stay well,
to romp, play, and do your bidding.

To walk by your side and
stand ready willing, and
able to protect you with my life,
should your life ever be in danger.

And, my friend,
when I am very old,
and no longer enjoy good health,
hearing, and sight,
do not make heroic efforts
to keep me going.

I am not having any fun.
Please see that my trusting
life is taken gently.

I shall leave this earth knowing
with my last breath I draw
that my fate was always
safest in your hands.
